Dysart History
Dysart has an incredibly rich and varied history. Local industry has included: salt, shipping, trade, coal, linen, foundry, golf clubs etc
Museum
The Tolbooth Museum is open every Sunday throughout the summer, and together with other Fife “open doors” events.
Archive
The archive is available in hardcopy in the museum. Volunteers will help you discover more about your personal genealogy.
Further Reading
The Dysart Trust has commissioned several books and pamplets regarding the history of Dysart.
Volunteers
The trust is run entirely by volunteers and funded by your donations.
Community Development
The Dysart Trust supports the Dysart Community Council, in providing support and feedback for local development plans.
